Too much season in your sparklers? Well, for those with moderation in mind add just a little pizzaz to your already prudent drinks and cocktails.

These cocktail muddlers are made from the lovely Pacific Dogwood (Cornus Nutallii). A few years ago, I harvested this material from mountains about 45 minutes north of where we live in Auburn. The wood itself is a pleasure to work with a smooth consistent grain and a delicate pink hue. Each one is split from the log, turned on the lathe, then each facet cut in with a spokeshave. The final touches are carved with a chisel and knife and finished with natural food safe oil.
